$$-$$$$, Cat Island
Fodor's Review:
At Cat Island's southwestern tip, this waterfront resort, just yards from a long sandy beach, has its own runway and a 28-slip marina. The patios of the guest rooms, the dining room, and the lounge overlook the pool and the aquamarine Exuma Sound. With cheerful pastel-colored walls and bright bedspreads, rooms have either one king-size or two queen-size beds with baths that have both tubs and showers. A hearty breakfast is included in the daily rate. Fresh grilled wahoo, mahimahi, and roasted rack of lamb are dinner specialties ($$-$$$). The marina can arrange fishing and diving adventures.
