$, Cat Island
Fodor's Review:
Set on an 8-mi stretch of pink shell-strewn sand, this remote resort is about 35 minutes from the New Bight airport. The large clubhouse, with its purple-and-white walls and vivid tropical paintings, is the center of activity. You can relax at the attractive bar or on the stone veranda, which has open vistas of the violet-blue Atlantic; or catch some rays at the pool or beach. Rooms are bright and cheerfully decorated with colorful fish stencils. Dinner ($-$$) is served family style. Picnic lunches are prepared for day excursions. The resort is an ideal location for divers and for anglers to fish on their own for bonefish.
