Fodor's Review:
Choose one of the comfy island homes scattered on 11 acres of gardens, with access to the harbor and the beach, or go more upscale with a West Indies-style Flamingo Villa, perfectly situated across from the lighthouse at the entrance to the harbor. The spacious two bedroom-two bath villas have large kitchens, satellite TV and Internet access, deluxe bedrooms with balconies, and wraparound decks with pools and barbecues. Owners Peggy and Chris Thompson also run a property-management company that rents more than 75 private cottages and houses. Most of these units sleep four or more, and some of the more upscale properties can accurately be described as mansions. Peggy and Chris can also arrange for everything from boat and golf-cart rentals to island excursions and fishing guides.
