Surrounded by a white picket fence, this resort sits high on Buccaneer Hill in a 19th-century neighborhood. It has crisp white buildings trimmed in vibrant hues, surrounded by tropical gardens. Rooms are decorated in an island theme and have private patios or balconies. Ask for one of the second-floor rooms, which have views of the ocean in the distance. The resort is a long walk from a pink-sand beach, so you'll need to rent a car. The guest-services department arranges bonefishing or deep-sea fishing trips, day trips to other islands, and car or bike rentals. The restaurant serves full American breakfast.
