Eleuthera and Harbour Island Restaurants

Buccaneer Club

Buccaneer Club Review

On the top of Buccaneer Hill overlooking the town and the harbor, this mid-19th-century farmhouse is now a restaurant serving three meals a day, with an outdoor dining area surrounded by a garden of bougainvillea, hibiscus, and coconut palms. The beach is a leisurely five-minute stroll away, and the harbor, where you can also swim, is within shouting distance. Sample such native specialties as grouper, conch, and crawfish.

This restaurant is under new ownership. Lisa is from Canada (apparently her poor husband is still there for a little while)and she has made some awesome changes to this quaint restaurant. The caesar salad is to die for, and the prices are very reasonable. Bahamian Fried Chicken (the island version of KFC) is on the way and promises to be a huge hit among the locals and tourists alike. My experience was nothing short of fantastic!! Very highly recommended.
