Radio Beach/ Blister Bay

Radio Beach/ Blister Bay Review

North Bimini's west coast is one contiguous stretch of beach that runs for several miles; however, different names distinguish the various swathes of powdery white sands. From the southern start of the beach in North Bimini to north of Alice Town and roughly Bailey Town are Radio Beach and Blister Bay. Sometimes this area is also called Alice Town Beach. (Nobody really knows where Radio Beach ends and Blister Beach starts, so everyone thought the new name of Alice Town Beach was a great compromise!) This section of gem-hued waters has patches that are shaded by Australian pines and generally nice wide beaches. An iron wreck of an old salvage ship rusts at the beach's south end. Given it's proximity to Alice Town the beach is usually popular with day-trippers and partiers. In fact, it's Bimini's most popular beach. During Spring Break, the beach is strewn with Kalik beer bottles. Amenities: food and drink. Best for: partiers; swimming.
