Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina (BBGC) Review

This low-rise lodging fixture since 1936 reopened in 2010 after a multiyear renovation, surfacing as the "newest" property on Bimini's dazzling coastline, and it has frequently topped Trip Advisor's list of Bimini hotels ever since. Under the auspices of Guy Harvey Outpost, named for the famed Jamaican artist and conservationist who has taken over the operation, Bimini Big Game Club boasts 51 rooms, a 75-slip marina, a dive shop, pool hall, deli, and the Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill, serving casual Bahamian and American fare. Located close to Alice Town, the charming and comfortable units have a distinct (and highly appropriate) fishing theme, with thematic artwork and blue and white interiors; the theme goes from rustic to chic as the room type climbs from rooms to cottages to suites.
