At the mouth of Stafford Creek, self-sufficient anglers and do-it-yourself vacationers can sit on the sundeck, sip a cold Kalik (local beer), and contemplate the vast bonefish flats of Central Andros (or take a wilderness hike through the pine forests to a remote landlocked lake). Bright pink motel-style rooms are comfortable, with double beds and private bath. The restaurant, overlooking Stafford Creek, serves traditional Bahamian seafood, steaks, chicken, and pork, and at the bar you can enjoy an array of fruity rum drinks. Sit at one of the outside tables and feed the resident fish. You're likely to also see tarpon, dolphin, and even sharks swimming by. Bonefishing and diving excursions can be arranged. Most guests arrive at Andros Town airport, but San Andros is an equal distance away.
