North Bimini Travel Guide
Boating and Fishing
There are numerous areas where fishermen can fish for the elusive "gray ghost." Full-day fishing excursions cost upwards of $600. Reef and deep-sea fishing excursions are also available. The best bonefish guides must be booked well in advance.
Bonefish Ansil. Ansil Saunders holds the world's record for the biggest bonefish ever caught. He's known around town as "Bonefish Ansil" and is one of the most sought after bonefish guides in Bimini. Ansil also has a workshop in Bailey Town where he builds boats. 242/347–2178.
Bonefish Ebbie. Ebbie David is a highly recommended bonefishing guide in Bimini. 242/347–2053 or 242/359–8273.

Capt. Jerome. For deep sea fishing in Bimini, Captain Jerome Stuart is your man. Stuart charges from $1,400 per day, and from $800 per half day for deep-sea fishing, with captain, mate, and gear included. Depending on the season, expect to catch snapper, grouper, Big Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, and sharks. Be aware of global declines in specific species before casting out your line. 242/347–2081 or. www.biminifishing.com.
