Tipping

Restaurants generally include a 10% to 15% service charge on the bill; when in doubt, ask. If service isn't included, a 10% tip is standard; if it is included, it's still customary to add something extra, usually small change, at your discretion. Taxi drivers expect a 10% to 15% tip, but it isn't mandatory. Porters and bellhops should receive about $2 per bag; chambermaids, about $2 a day.
