On the southwestern coast, across the highway from what is quickly becoming known as Time-Share Lane, is one of the Caribbean's—if not the world's—best beaches. With all the resorts here, this mile-plus-long beach is always hopping. The white sand is literally dazzling, and sunglasses are essential. Many of the hotels have facilities on or near the beach, and refreshments are never far away. Amenities: food and drink; toilets. Best for: swimming; walking;

Aruba is a great place to Visit. We liked Manchibo Beach the best but Eagle is very nice

Although the weather in Aruba is great, you are better off renting a car and driving to a less crowded beach. At Eagle Beach, if you don't get there by 7 AM you don't get a lounge chair or palapa. That is not my idea of a vacation. And one day at 1:30 PM we found a palapa that was unoccupied and had been unoccupied for 2 hours so we moved our lounge chairs under it. About a half hour later, a couple came back and claimed that that was their palapa.
They were very rude about it. No thanks.
