Fodor's Review

Built in 1962, this synagogue is the only Jewish house of worship on Aruba and strives to meet the needs of its Ashkenazi, Sephardic, European, North American, and South American worshippers. The island's Jewish community dates back to the opening of the oil refinery in the 1920s, when small congregations gathered in private homes in San Nicolas. The temple holds regular services on Friday at 7:30 pm, followed by kiddush; additional services are held on Saturday, Rosh Chodesh, and festivals. Visitors are always welcome, although it's best to make an appointment to see the synagogue when there's not a service.
