Aruba Nightlife

Bon Bini Festival

Bon Bini Festival Review

This year-round folklore event (the name means "welcome" in Papiamento), is held every Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Ft. Zoutman in Oranjestad. In the inner courtyard you can check out the Antillean dancers in resplendent costumes, feel the rhythms of the steel drums, browse among the stands displaying local artwork, and sample local food and drink. Admission is usually around $3, but can be as high as $10, depending on what is on offer.

If you are a regular to Fodor's, you must attend the Bon Bini Festival! Authentic culture, local artists, local food and entertainment all for as little as $3.00. We truly enjoyed learning about Aruba from it's residents in a comfortable and accepting setting.
