The Ellis family converted their 175-year-old manor into a bistro with an atmosphere that is elegant, intimate, and always romantic. You can feast in the dining room, which is filled with antiques, or outdoors on the terrace by the pool (sitting on plastic patio chairs covered in fabric). The chefs mix Continental and Caribbean cuisines to produce sumptuous seafood and meat dishes. Items cooked "on the stone" are popular as much for the drama of the sizzling stone as for the incredible aromas that envelop you when they are presented. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, so don't come here if you're in a rush.

Sometimes you here so many great things about a restaurant your expectations get so high you are often disappointment this is not the case here. An incredible outdoor setting, with table’s set around a pool and inside a beautiful garden area of a lovely old house converted to a restaurant. In ordered the Mahi-Mahi “On a Stone’. It was one of the best fish dished I ever had. Went back two nights later to ordered it again it was just as good .My wife had the lobster on a stone it was perfect. As good as the Flying Fishbone (and it is excellent) my wife and I gave Papiamento a slight nod as our favorite.
A must if you go to Aruba

Had a wonderful dinner at this neighborhood restaurant in an elegant setting - stables set around a lovely pool. Great food and service. Perfect for our last night in Aruba.
