An Aruban institution, this Franco-Belgian restaurant is impeccable. The emphasis is on an upscale dining experience, and the menu includes high-end offerings like coquilles St. Jacque (broiled scallops in a cream and wine sauce) and sole meunière (seasoned sole dusted with flour and sautéed in butter). But attention is lavished on even the simplest menu items; a salad arrives at your table looking like an impressionistic work of art. There are five dining rooms to choose from, each with its own special ambience -- La Galerie room offers the best view of the sunset over Eagle Beach. Don't ignore the 16-page wine list. Le Dôme is an AGA VIP member.

My wife and i ate at Le Dôme Restaurant celebrating our 5th anniversery and the food was superb aswell as the staff. We were so suprised that they put so much effort in making this evening so memorable for us. For our appetizers we had the duckmousse and the lobstersalad followed by the rack of lam & sole meuniere. Presentaion & Quality of the food was outstanding. We will defenitly return!

pretty restaurant, but the food is not good. skimpy portions of fish that did not smell fresh and seemed to be prepared from frozen. drinks were watered down. service was indifferent at best. definitely would not recommend this restaurant, which pales in comparison to other restaurants on the island.
