Fodor's Review:

The gentle sound of the surf and splashing waterfalls compete for your attention in this sprawling compound, where everything seems to run smoothly. A grand lobby leads either to gardens or to a chic shopping arcade and casino. Recently renovated rooms (part of a $50 million overhaul completed in January 2009) are the largest on the island with massive balconies; most have ocean views, and all have walk-in closets. Suites are even more expansive and have hot tubs. The restaurant choices here are unrivaled on the island and Wave's Beach Bar is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. Pros: large rooms; variety of excellent restaurants; great shopping. Cons: large, impersonal resort; reception can become gridlocked in peak season.
