Tucked into an innocuous cunucu (country) house in the heart of downtown, this little gem is a hotbed of great food and fun. Locals come here for the authentic ethnic cuisine and nightly entertainment. The interior is small, so it always seems busy. Their legendary mojitos, a tasty mixture of light rum, sugar, mint, and soda, pack quite a punch. Ropa vieja ("old clothes") -- sautéed skirt steak -- is a menu favorite, as is the lobster enchilada.

Beatiful artwork adorns the walls of our small alcove. Service very prompt and authenic Cuban cuisine. The local musicians are like family and add greatly to the ambienc. Of course the best mojitos anywhere.

This was our 3rd trip to Aruba but 1st time eating here. If you havent eaten here before- you gotta go! By far one of my fav eateries in Aruba! Delicious & plentiful food & lots of selection. From the outside it doesnt look like much but inside it is a quaint lil place w/festive entertainers! & Yes, you must try their mojitos- exceptional!
