Fodor's Review

Meaning "ruins by the sea," this scenic spot is the focal point of the Grand dame Hyatt Regency hotel, famous for its gorgeous tropical grounds and water circuit of falls and pools leading to the sea. The trademark black swans swimming around the koi pond cresting the tiki-torch lit terrace of the dining room make for a very romantic setting, and the interior is elegant and refined. Specialites include stone-hearth cooked items and basic international fare that changes at the chef's fancy and with the seasons. Not to be missed is the local pumpkin soup with coconut milk and cilantro. The Sunday champagne brunch buffet is also very popular, and the setting is unparelleled for breakfast weekdays as well.
