Fodor's Review

Though it's best known as a party spot, especially Sunday night when all the locals come out to barefoot boogie in the sand to live music or DJs, many don't realize how good the food is here. The dinners under the giant palapa can be very romantic and first-rate. Best bets are the catch of the day, pasta of the day, and the signature shrimp or killer ribs. It's also a fabulous lunch spot—perfect for people-watching along Aruba's busiest beach. The daily breakfast buffet with an unlimited mimosa option is also noteworthy. Sunset happy hours are popular here, with creative tapas like piña colada shrimp and chorizo potato stacks, and their barkeeps are real showmen as well as great mixologists, so don't miss their signature cocktails.
