Fodor's Review

This 12-acre property is one the most lavishly landscaped resorts on the island, with a glorious array of bright tropical blooms and lush foliage surrounding a circuit of waterfalls culminating in a koi pond where black swans glide gracefully by. The multilevels of eateries and nooks are wrapped around the pools and a faux ruins wall where their most popular restaurant Ruinas del Mar is located. It all cascades down to a beautiful beach with all kinds of water sports and activities. Standard rooms have been updated with all the latest modern amenities, but those seeking seriously upscale can opt for the Plaza Club—a resort within the resort—with all the luxuries one could desire.
