Most larger resorts have their own tennis courts, but guests have top priority. BBR Sportive Complex (Jolly Harbour. 268/462-6260) offers two clay and two Astroturf courts, instruction, and a squash court. Its lively Steely Bar offers happy hours, theme buffet dinners, and occasional live entertainment or karaoke. Carlisle Bay (Old Road St., St. Mary's. 268/484-0000) has nine lighted courts and an impressive pro shop and roster of instructors; nonguests can occasionally book court time. The Temo Sports Complex (Falmouth Bay. 268/463-6376 or 268/460-1781) has four floodlighted, synthetic-grass tennis courts and two glass-backed squash courts.
