The bar is stocked with more than 300 international spirits and liqueurs and an extensive, but reasonably priced, wine list. Though the massive wrap-around balcony is the ideal spot to dine, be sure to douse yourself with repellent before you arrive—the mosquitoes are quite aggressive.

2. Sheer Rocks
$$$ | |Comprising a series of tiered wood decks carved into the cliffside, this popular spot offers views that are every bit as sought after as the food. The menu encompasses a tapestry of creative tapas, many of which can be served in larger portions, like umami-braised beef short ribs and truffle mac-and-cheese infused with porcini stock. Add a dash of sultry music, season with smashing views, complement with an admirable wine list (not to mention inventive cocktails), and you have the recipe for a tropical St. Tropez experience. Even with its finite space, Sheer Rocks has continued to expand—the Rock Terrace tier is primarily for tasting-menu dining, and a private lounge area has a tiny infinity pool and is fabulous for small gatherings.

3. Papa Zouk
$$$ | |According to owner Bert Kirchner, Papa Zouk is not a restaurant, but a rum shop surreptitiously disguised as a favorite seafood joint—don’t miss the pan-fried snapper and garlicky gumbo (bouillabaisse). Located off the beaten path, the deliberately kitschy decor—madras tablecloths and lobster traps turned chandeliers—draws a hodgepodge of characters from locals to English Harbour yachties, actor Robert De Niro, and the man who notoriously set the bar ablaze. Showcasing more than 100 rums, the bar includes rums from Japan, Papua New Guinea, and, of course, Antigua.

4. Salt Plage
$$$ | |Sandwiched between Siboney Beach Club and the great blue sea, under a bamboo-accented natural-wood thatched roof grounded by multicolored stone floors, this little gem has an efficient and welcoming staff that's doting without being suffocating. The fare is simple and deftly prepared, including perfectly chewy New York–style bagels with lox in the morning, and sweet potato and butternut sauté served with coconut bouillon and crispy papadam. The food won't disappoint, but for some the prices may. The decor is muted, with monochromatic blue intonations, melding with the paradisiac views of Dickenson Bay beach and outfitted with seemingly obligatory trendy bamboo hanging lanterns. People- and panorama-viewing is the order of the day by the often crowded beach, but somehow the hustle and bustle is unobtrusive.
