Government Buildings, The Valley
Fodor's Review:
This former sugar-plantation greathouse was built in the 1790s and is a fine example of island stonework. It now houses KoalKeel restaurant and a sumptuous bakery upstairs. But for many years it served as the residence of the island's chief administrator, who also doubled as the only medical practitioner. Across the street you can see the oldest dwelling on the island, originally built as slave housing.
