Right on beautiful Meads Bay, this restaurant opened to raves in 2010. Alain the chef and Jacques the maître d' (from Malliouhana) have joined forces, and the happy result is carefully prepared and nicely presented French food served with care in a lovely open-air restaurant, accompanied by good wines and a lot of personal attention. A delicious starter terrine of feta and grilled vegetables is infused with pesto. For an entrée, you must try hand-chopped steak tartare,
or seared and marinated sushi-grade tuna on a bed of delightful mashed plantain. Lighter lunchtime options include a tart cucumber-yogurt soup garnished with piquant tomato sorbet. After lunch you can digest on the beach in one of the "Fatboy" loungers. In any case, save room for the chocolate pot de crème.
