Fodor's Review

Looking for the antidote to the big resorts but still want an attractive, modern, private villa close to the restaurants, resorts, and beautiful beaches of West End? This group of eight small villas (with one to four bedrooms) at the tip of the island could be just the thing. Designed and built in 2004, these individually owned beach cottages, each named for a flower, are private, attractive, well equipped, reasonably priced, and set in small but exquisite tropical gardens.

Some have outdoor showers, and two have private plunge pools. There is a small private beach of the wild and rocky variety that is great for snorkeling, but the stunning sands of Shoal Bay West are a 10-minute walk—and are worth the trouble. A central public area includes a pool, library, and barbecue patio. As with most villas on the island, there is daily maid service.
