Fodor's Review

Sometimes you really can have it all. Right on exquisite Crocus Bay, this beautifully designed resort, restaurant, and club is a place where you could spend the whole day dining, drinking, and lounging under umbrellas on the comfortable chairs. Snorkeling equipment and kayaks are available for rent, and there's a boutique as well as a beachside spa. You can picnic at the Beach Grill (burgers, hot dogs, wraps, salads) or head inside the main building for dumplings, soups,

pastas, and pizzas. Lunch starts at 11, and you can get tapas and sunset drinks from about 3. At dinner, the stylish wood interior (built by craftsmen from St. Vincent) is accented by candlelight. On the menu are such dishes as tasty seared snapper with gingered kale, coconut-crusted scallops, and Angus steaks. Go for the music on Friday and Saturday nights. The owners, siblings David and Vida Lloyd, who also operate Lloyd's Guest House, grew up right here, and they have taken pains to get it all just right. Call for information about their nightly shuttle service.
