Despite the name of this property, it comprises not cottages but rather large, fully equipped, and relatively affordable studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments in a small complex at the farthest end of glorious Shoal Bay Beach. The restaurant is on a breezy verandah near the beach. Guests gather on mismatched Adirondack-type chairs for sundowner cocktails. But there isn't much attention from staff. Pros: big apartments; quiet end of beach; snorkeling right outside the door. Cons: no pool, generic decor; more condo than hotel in terms of staff; location at the end of Shoal Bay pretty much requires a car and some extra time to drive to the West End.
