Young management and a hip, modern look please new and repeat visitors to this low-key resort overlooking Meads Bay. Although small, the attractively redone standard rooms have fresh white paint, flat-screen TVs, comfy beds, and touches of Asian decor. Budget-conscious travelers appreciate the garden suites and larger villas, which have full kitchens. Junior suites have kitchenettes, big granite bathrooms, and whirlpool baths. The restaurant is a gathering spot for guests, many of whom choose a meal plan that includes breakfast and dinner or, for more flexibility, purchase meal vouchers for a part of their stay. Though the five-minute walk to the beach is not the prettiest, you'll find thatched umbrellas and chaises when you get there. Pros: modern, clean, and well-equipped; good value; nice tech amenities. Cons: long walk to the beach with many stairs; ongoing construction next door.
