Fodor's Review:

This all-suites hotel is modeled on the barefoot chic of Miami's South Beach; the airy white apartments have lime and turquoise decorative accents, glass and chrome furniture, and balconies overlooking the beach or the pool. It's a great choice for young people because of its chic styling, great facilities, and gentle room rates. Friendly, helpful management and staff keep things running smoothly. The location on the beautiful 1½-mi-long (2½-km-long) sands of Shoal Bay Beach, with its string of lively beach grills and dive shops, is a winner. The open-air restaurant hops at breakfast, lunch, and dinner with omelets, salads, pizza, grilled seafood, and burgers and the famous fish-and-chips of Chef Deon, who also owns the Overlook restaurant. The 70-foot-long beachside bar serves up sophisticated snacks and frosty drinks as well as such entertainments as live music and karaoke, but Shoal Bay regulars know that the spectacular sunsets are reason enough to hang till dark. Top off the whole package with a St. Barths-style beachwear boutique (ZaZaa) and a minimarket to provision your unit's kitchen. Pros: beautiful beach with tropical sunsets; the convenience of apartment living; several walkable dining options; good beds with nice sheets. Cons: bathrooms are small and older; decor is pleasant but not luxurious.

Ku lies on a stretch of beach that locals will tell you is the finest on the island with the softest sand and longest stretch of uninterrupted water.
Ku's rooms were extrardinary for the price, each outfitted with a full kitchen and fine cookware. Rent a car, pick up goodies at the local market and you can save time and money by making breakfast or poppping up from the beach for a quick lunch.
The restaurant is very good and the outdoor bar looks out over the pristine beach. There's also several on-the-water eatieres nearby including Ernie's BBQ and Maderaiman's less than 50 feet from the hotel.
Ku may not have the spa-type amenities of Cuisinart or Cap Juluca, but if you're looking for a comfortbale, large place to stay on a beautiful stretch of beach with other fun things you can walk to - this is the place! Highly reccommend.
