Fodor's Review

This collection of studios and one- to three-bedroom oceanfront condos is right on Meads Bay Beach, with some of the island's best restaurants a sandy stroll away. Although the building is clunky from the outside, units are spacious and have a variety of bedroom configurations, and all have wonderful views, full kitchens, and washers and dryers. Units are individually owned, so decor varies. Especially during slower seasons, it's a terrific value. There's a nice pool, and the grounds are well kept. Try for a beachfront unit on the second or third floor of the newer building.

Can't wait to return to "The Nest"

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle's Nest. We had everything we needed and the Condo and grounds were very well maintained. Everyone is so nice, friendly and welcoming. The staff was fantastic, always helping us with snorkelling equipment, calling cabs, and generally offering advice about the island. Nice having a new, large grocery store within walking distance. The rum punch on the beach every afternoon was a nice bonus! Mead's Bay is a

beautiful beach. Several restaurants are within walking distance. When I go back to Anguilla I would definitely stay at Turtle's Nest!

Safety not a prioirty

My husband was injured while staying at Turtle's Nest. The shower tile was poorly installed in unit 2BE and had a razor sharp edge. He slipped on the 12x12 shower tiles (no mat or anti-slip features) and fell along this edge severing a tendon in his wrist (down to the bone) and breaking his toe in two places. Turtle's Nest paid for the partial emergency surgery on the island but this was just the beginning of medical costs for him when returning

to the States. Turtle's Nest is denying their responsibility for medical costs. Bottom line, safety is not a priority at this resort. Slippery surfaces abound. I would avoid staying here especially the elderly.
