Peak Season: May to October

Although weather conditions throughout the year are hot and humid, the dry season between May and October is considered high season and the most comfortable time to visit. Prices do not vary much between low and high season.

Off Season: November to April

Heat and humidity soar in the wet season, even though the rains occur mostly at night. This is also tropical storm season, and Tonga is in the center of the South Pacific cyclone belt.

Shoulder Season: There is no shoulder season in Tonga, although vacationers do visit during the December–January holidays, so if you're planning a winter getaway book hotels and flights in advance.
