South Pacific Resort Hotel Review

Fresh from a recent renovation, the South Pacific Resort Hotel has refurbished 20 garden and 10 superior rooms, and has added three penthouse rooms with terraces taking in the valley views. The penthouses are huge and include spa baths, king beds, iPod docks, and flat-screen TVs. The resort, the largest on the island, is in Burnt Pine. The Metcalfe Restaurant and Bounty Bar are the places for pre-dinner drinks and dinner, and a coffee shop serves snacks and light lunches. It's a short walk to village restaurants, bars, and the popular RSL Club, the town's social hub. The hotel stages an Old English Pub night, complete with a three-course meal and entertainment, and it hosts weekly island fish frys.
