By the Bay Review

If you're seeking total seclusion and enjoy sweeping views from bedroom and spa bathtub, this three-bedroom cottage on a hill above beautiful Ball Bay is your answer—it's on the island's southeast coast, adjoining Buck's Point Reserve. From the ample timber deck complete with hammock, small dining table, and padded sun-loungers, guests can take in the forest of Norfolk Island Pines encircling the calm bay. The living room makes a statement with Norfolk Pine flooring, huge windows, a timber cathedral ceiling, and a dramatic stone fireplace. Perfectly appointed for self-catering, the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and daily breakfast provisions. The owners greet guests at the airport and provide a rental car. The complimentary bottle of sparkling wine is best sampled from the cute little picnic table sitting on a ridge overlooking the bay.
