Train Travel
The terminal for all TranzScenic train services is Wellington Railway Station on Bunny Street, 1 1/2 km (1 mi) from the city center. The Overlander train connects Auckland and Wellington, going daily once each way on the 11-hour trip.
TranzMetro operates suburban train services to Wellington Railway Station from the Hutt Valley, Palmerston North, and Masterton.
