Kelburn Cable Car

Kelburn Cable Car Review

The Swiss-built funicular railway makes a short-but-sharp climb to Kelburn Terminal, from which there are great views across parks and city buildings to Port Nicholson. Sit on the left side during the six-minute journey for the best scenery. A small Cable Car Museum is at the top in the old winding house with a display of restored, former cable cars (entry is free).

Nice, short ride for good view.
Arrives at top of botanic garden, so can walk back to city through garden. Not much else at top.
