Named for owner Michael Seresin, a New Zealand filmmaker, this estate stands out by virtue of its meticulous viticulture and subtle wine-making techniques, producing hand-grown, handpicked, and handmade wine. It's a bit tricky to find—look out for the big stacked rocks on the edge of the river terrace. This vineyard is one of the pioneers of operating high environmental standards, using both biodynamic and organic production methods. Seresin also produces a Tuscan-style, biodynamic olive oil and three citrus oils—lemon, lime, and orange. The cellar door is attached to the winery. During vintage time guests to the cellar door can taste the handpicked grapes and fresh grape juice, and see the winemaking process firsthand.
