Stations Inn

Stations Inn Review

Considered by many locals to be a special-occasion destination, Stations Inn is a great place for visitors to experience high-quality, classic New Zealand fare. It's been a consistent winner of the annual Hallmark of Excellence for the beef and lamb it serves. Stations Inn sits on a river terrace a few kilometers out of Hokitika, alongside a small number of accommodation suites and studios. On summer evenings you can sit outside and enjoy the view across the countryside; inside you can peruse the historic gold-mining photos. This was the site of the Blue Spur Gold fields, where some 2,500 people lived in the 1860s.
