As the saying goes, "what goes around comes around" and Marlborough's wine industry is no exception. Here, ex-Seresin winemaker, Brian Bicknell, produces excellent wines out of the old Cellier Le Brun winery, which has been revamped and extended to accommodate burgeoning demand. Concentrating on texture and feel of the wine, rather than the primary fruit flavors, Brian employs wild fermentation techniques, producing quality pinot noir and sauvignon blanc and focusing on single vineyard wines. Tastings are free; the tasting room is an open, welcoming space with an open fire in winter and cool shade in summer.
