Locally recognized chef Kevin Hopgood dishes up beautifully prepared fresh food at this city restaurant. In the café strip at the top of Trafalgar Street you'll have to book ahead because it's the best spot around. Try the beef, always cooked to perfection with a hint of red, or the fresh fish, battered beautifully and served with a crisp green salad. The food is not overdressed contemporary cuisine but fresh natural ingredients cooked simply, enhanced with tasty dressings and jus. The drinks menu is unashamedly local.
