Kahurangi Wine Estate

Kahurangi Wine Estate Review

Kahurangi Wine Estate, a successful winery that sits beside the main road in the idyllic little village of Upper Moutere, was first developed by Hermann Seifried in the 1970s as one of the area's first commercial vineyards. Now owned by Greg and Amanda Day, they have a good range of Rieslings, pinot gris, and pinot noir, montepulciano, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, and a fine gewürztraminer. The cellar door has a range of imported wines and cognacs as well as Kahurangi's own wines. They also have a boutique vineyard cottage accommodation on the property
