Karamea Lodge Review

Overlooking the huge Otumahana Lagoon, this modern, well-priced, eco-friendly lodge is the perfect place to watch magnificent sunsets and be soothed to sleep with the ocean's distant roar. They have purposefully not installed TV or air-conditioning so you get to enjoy the quiet. Kayaks are for guests' use and rain forest bushwalks are just out the door. The rooms are spacious and private balconies overlook the lagoon. A full kitchen and a large dining-lounge area are available if you want to cook.
