Nelson Markets Review

If you're in Nelson on a Saturday or Wednesday morning, head down to Montgomery Square, off Trafalgar Street, to the Nelson Market, held from 8am till 1pm. This market, established for more than 30 years, is one of the longest-standing in the country. It gained its reputation from the wealth of local artists and craftspeople who sell their wares here, and now fresh produce, handmade breads and artisan cheeses join the artsy wares for sale. If pre-loved treasures are for you then look among the large selection of recycled and vintage goods at Monty's Sunday Market in the same location.
