$$$, Contemporary, Blenheim
Fodor's Review:
This bright and breezy central restaurant is a popular meeting place for Blenheimites. The food is modern New Zealand café style, which means you can choose from a simple snack to a full-blown three-courser. The pizzas, fresh out of the wood-fired oven, have a big local following -- tandoori lamb is the biggest-selling topping. At night, look for the likes of pan-seared pork roulade, stuffed with roasted pear and mint, and served with sweet potato rösti (shredded and fried) and wilted spinach.
