¢-$, Cafe, Havelock
Fodor's Review:
Fancy a wild pork and kumara (native sweet potato) pie, some mussel fritters, a piece of carrot cake dripping under a smear of sweet frosting, or just a nice cup of coffee? This spot is one of the better on-the-road cafés you'll find in the area; it even has some special kid-friendly options. The lovely setting beside the rocky, tree-lined Pelorus River is a bonus, especially in summer when you can eat outside under the trees. The café closes at 5 PM.
