The Chart Room

Fodor's Review:

True to its name, this smart, central restaurant is hung with copies of Captain Cook's nautical charts and maps -- plus a rowing sculler suspended from the ceiling. The kitchen serves local favorites, such as green-lipped mussels, scallops, and venison medallions served with a vegetable ragout and mashed kumara (native sweet potato).
