Shining Star Review

These oceanfront chalets are about as close to the beach as you'll get; the surf rolls in just beyond the dunes, the air has a salty tang, and the sky is filled with wheeling seabirds. Even if you're at the back of the camp the outlook is rural and restful, given the centrally located grassy paddock where alpaca, goats, sheep, and pigs graze. The kids (and big kids) will love these placid guys. The units range from simple, stylish wooden log cabins with personal veranda, to chalets with full kitchens and big fluffy duvets; a few have whirlpool baths. There are also campsites, including powered sites for campervans, a clean and well-equipped shared kitchen, barbecue areas, and a children's playground. There's even a glowworm dell just out the back, take a look when it gets dark. A continental breakfast is available on request.
