$$$, Italian, Blenheim
Fodor's Review:
Dozens of chianti bottles hang from the roof trusses here, and in winter an open fire with a spit provides both warmth and atmosphere. Try the spaghetti à la marinara, with mussels, prawns, scallops, fish, and garlic butter -- the fish is fresh off the boat. Crayfish lovers take note: the crayfish here is some of the cheapest you'll find. The helpings are more than generous, but you're welcome to share dessert. Look for the delicious Marlborough cherries marinated in brandy. The wine list covers most of the local labels and includes several Italian imports.
