From its first vintage in 1985, Cloudy Bay has produced first-class sauvignon blanc along with a range that includes an equally impressive Pelorus sparkling, chardonnay, pinot noir, riesling, pinot gris, gewürztraminer, and its unique barrel-aged sauvignon Te Koko. The owner's Australian heritage can be seen in the courtyard eucalyptus plantings. Various tasting options are available, as is light food and tapas dishes, matched with in-house wines. Private, customized
experiences can be pre-arranged. A roaring log fire warms the tasting area in winter.
