Getting Here and Around

Twizel is on State Highway 8. If you're driving south from Christchurch on Highway 1, turn onto Highway 8 at Fairlie. If you're coming north from Queenstown, follow Highway 6 to Cromwell, then turn onto Highway 8 and continue over the Lindis Pass to Twizel. InterCity Bus serves Twizel.
