This Queenstown institution is so popular it's recently opened a second venue, so if you can't get in to the main cafe try its "mini-me" version (Vudu Cafe & Larder) round the corner on Rees Street, just a short walk away. There's a solid breakfast and lunch menu with appealing homemade food at the counter to choose from, with plenty of gluten-free options, too. For breakfast try the poached eggs with grilled halloumi, or fill up with their blueberry and/or blackberry
pancakes. Vudu has a pleasant cosmopolitan vibe but can get a bit noisy, so it's not the place to come for a quiet chat.
